Following shortlisting for a BILD PBS award, Becca Ennis from Aspirico and Charlotte Jinks from Dimensions co-presented at the BILD Positive Behaviour Support International Conference 2019.
They jointly received “Highly Commended” in The Excellence in Applying the Principles of PBS into Practice category, an award that recognises organisations that have demonstrated improved quality of life for the people they support through good practice of Positive Behaviour Support.
At the conference, Charlotte presented Dimension’s Activate methodology which combines Positive Behavioural Support and Active Support while being underpinned by a goal setting and service monitoring system. Becca demonstrated how Aspirico’s iplanit could be easily tailored to support the digitisation of the unique Activate model that establishes and tracks outcomes in each of the 8 key domains. They were both able to show how this real time tracking of Activate through iplanit works to give a live picture of outcomes, actions and activities allowing for continuous identification of issues and implementation of solutions.
This experience with was an amazing opportunity to highlight good practice and see the continued requirement of PBS in everything we do, to ensure people supported are given the opportunity to develop the best outcomes from their lives.
